Frequent Flyers is a self-started project in which I created a brand new board game using user-centered design philosophies and ux research techniques.
The goal was to create a board game that is fun to play, has a good balance of luck and strategy, and can be replayed again and again.
I took my loose concept and developed the game mechanics and assets, then I conducted the play testing and user interviews.
While I had played many games, this was my first time creating one. Achieving the proper balance of luck and strategy was vitally important, but proved very difficult to achieve. This took many iterations to fine tune.
